Where is Emma Claire Physiotherapy located?
The Clinic is based in Nun Monkton, YO26 8ER. Halfway between Harrogate and York, off the A59. The Clinic is within my house and is a calm, clean and confidential space.

What is access like to the Clinic?
There is plenty of parking outside my house and I only have one patient at a time.
Please Park outside my gate on either the track or grass. Be careful as it can get muddy in Winter!
There are two small steps into my property and then it is all on the level.
Do you have a toilet in Clinic?
Yes, there is a toilet immediately next to the clinic for patient use.
How long are the appointments?
Your first appointment is for an hour and any subsequent follow ups will be 45 minutes unless discussed. You will receive email and telephone support throughout your whole treatment. The support I offer throughout your care is of high importance to me.
Are babies welcome to the appointments?
Babies are very welcome to your appointment. A baby rocker is available for small babies and/or a baby play mat. A chaperone is also welcome at any appointment – please just speak to me if you would like to arrange this.
What is a Mummy postnatal MOT?
This is one service I offer; it is a comprehensive postnatal check carried out after 6 weeks for both vaginal and c-section deliveries. I will carry out a bladder and bowel screening questionnaire, a posture check, stomach and pelvic floor muscle assessment. We will work together to build a postnatal exercise and wellbeing plan. The session is tailored to you.
How much is each appointment?
Your initial appointment is £75 and follow ups are charged at £60.
I never want money to stop you accessing treatment and care so please speak to me about this. I offer several free and discounted sessions a month.
How do I pay for my treatment session?
Payment is by BACS transfer. An invoice will be sent out prior to your appointment.
Do you still have Covid-19 Policies in place?
Yes, all current Covid-19 policies remain in place. I would ask that you to continue to wash your hands on entering and wear a mask if possible, for my own protection and other patients.
